Introduction to Flinkwerk Policies

The universe of policies and procedures that govern the use of Flinkwerk.

Changes

We continually review and modify the policies in this repository. Our review and modification process allows for discussion about upcoming changes before they go into effect and lets our community rely on our policies. Of course, Flinkwerk may alter our policies outside that schedule if necessary, such as when we have new product releases.

Changes to the policies can be tracked easily in the respective git repository available at https://gitlab.com/flinkwerk-inc/core/docs.

Attribution

Most agreements are based on the site policies by GitHub, Inc. offered under the same license.

License

All agreements within this directory are made available under the Creative Commons Zero license unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Use and Adapt

If any of our terms are useful to you, even in part, you're welcome to use them as per said license. You are welcome to provide feedback on our terms via a pull request or by opening an issue.

You're under no legal obligation to do so, but in the spirit of transparency and collaboration these policies are developed and shared with, you're encouraged to:

  • Share your adapted policies under CC0-1.0 or other open terms
  • Make your adaptations transparent by using a public repository to show changes you've made
  • Let us know how you're using adapted policies

These policies and procedures may not suit your organization's needs. Please consult a lawyer if you want to adopt these policies for your own uses.
